Who we are

联合校友会简介

Founded in 1997, the United Associations of Chinese Alumni in Greater Houston is a non-profit, non-political community organization devoted to fellowship among Chinese alumni in the region. Its members are the overseas alumni associations of leading Chinese universities and the Chinese student and scholar associations of local US universities. UACA is a partnership of equals — not a parent body over its members.

Our mission: to serve international students and alumni in the region, building friendship, cooperation and shared growth; to take an active part in community service and public-interest work in the Chinese community; and to carry forward the best of Chinese culture while advancing US–China exchange in culture, science, technology and education.

Jiang Yue 江岳, 2026 President

Dear alumni and friends,

On a summer morning, sunlight filters through the trees and a gentle breeze carries the scent of grass. In this season of hope, we joyfully welcome you to the 2026 Annual Gala of the United Associations of Chinese Alumni in Greater Houston. Thank you, sincerely, for being here.

Thank you for making time in your busy lives, and for your continued support of UACA. Looking back, the past year was full of activity.

In 2025 we hosted a pickleball tournament with 24 teams and 96 players; co-hosted a health lecture with the Shandong Association that drew more than 300 people; and organized a fun run with 120 participants.

Last fall, more than 300 of us gathered for the outdoor barbecue — home-style food and plenty of laughter reminded us of the warmth of being together. At the 2025 gala, our healthcare, technology, new energy and IT receptions brought leaders from many fields together, and the dinner made everyone feel at home.

Founded in 1997, UACA has now come through 28 years and counts more than fifty member associations and nearly 10,000 alumni. We remain committed to serving alumni, giving back to the community and building a platform for connection. Going forward, we will keep working with partners across culture, technology and education to serve our alumni and pass this warmth on.

Dear friends, may your path be bright and your wishes come true. May tonight leave you with warm and lasting memories.

Thank you again for joining us. Let us walk forward together toward an even brighter future!
